Picture by Pedesbiz (wikipedia) On 9 December 2008 a group of 303 citizens of the Peoples Republic of China including writers, intellectuals, lawyers, journalists, retired party officials, workers, farmers and businessmen issued Charter 08 / 零八宪章 calling for major changes of the Chinese political system. By January 2009 thousands had signed the document.
