Climate Summit: Conceptualizing Local Environmental Knowledge in Asia and beyond

Photo by the author.This week's article by Frida Hastrup, Copenhagen University, is the last in our series of articles on Climate Change.In her article the author discusses how we view local knowledge in relation to science while drawing on her experiences from field work in a fishing village in Tamil Nadu, South India. Her main focus of research was the way people recovered after the Asian Tsunami in December 2004.
