Centre for Development and the Environment – Doctoral Research Fellowship
July 21, 2018 - 14:51
SUM, Centre for Development and the Environment is an international research institution at the University of Oslo with a well-established track record of undertaking critical, independent and high quality interdisciplinary and policy-related research on the challenges and dilemmas posed by sustainable development.
SUM is primarily a research institution, but also offers PhD courses and an International Master in Culture, Environment and Sustainability. The Centre has the status of Research School specialising in educating scholars interested in interdisciplinary perspectives on development and the environment.
In this call, we are particularly interested in innovative proposals that relate to the issue of governance and sustainable development, but we are also open for proposals that are of relevance for more than one of SUM’s research areas; for example, food – which can relate to such issues as consumption, health, poverty, and environment. The fellowship period is three years.
Applicants should enclose a project description (max. 10 pages) which shows how the project satisfies the above criteria. The project description should also include a budget and progress plan.
