The Japanese government adopted a new Charter for Development Cooperation in February 2015, to embark on the post-2015 development era and building on the 60th anniversary of its ODA. What are key features of this new Charter? What are the continuity and evolution from the past – including the vision and approach? How should (can) Japan effectively contribute to the new era of global development, by making use of its core competence?
