Myanmar’s Long Road to Democracy

Will a new government in Myanmar continue the democratic reform policy and what role should Danish assistance play?

You are invited to this debate by International Media Support (IMS) and Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD).

Myanmar is at a crossroads when the Burmese hold elections on 8 November. Future implementation of reform policy will depend on the election process and the result.

 

The debate will be opened by Mette Gjerskov, DIPD Chairman of the Board, member of the parliament, and the Foreign Affairs Committee.
