    Cecilie Figenschou Bakke, Director, China Programme

    Cecilie F. Bakke holds a Cand. Polit degree in Political Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)/ University of Oslo, with specialisation in human rights, UN and international relations. She lived in Shanghai 1996/1998 and was stationed in Beijing parts of 2005 as a representative for the NCHR China Programme. She has previous working experience from The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), the State Information Centre, the Press Centre for the Norwegian Ministries and the South China Sea Programme at the Centre for Development and the Environment (SUM). Cecilie has worked for the NCHR China Programme since 2002 and has served as Director of the Programme since 1 January 2006. website:
