BASE Bielefeld Academic Search Engine is a multi-disciplinary search engine to scholarly internet resources, created by Bielefeld University Library Germany. At the moment there are 80 million documents in a variety of languages and over 3.500 content sources from over 100 countries to search from. The user interface operates in German, English and Chinese.

The licensed databases may only be used for personal and scientific purposes, as well as for research and educational purposes. It is strictly forbidden to change, rewrite, systematically copy, redistribute, sell, publish or in any way use the material for commercial purposes.
