PLEASE NOTE: THIS DATABASE IS NOT UPDATED ANYMORE

The CNKI China Statistical Yearbooks Database is a digital repository of statistical data published officially by the mainland Chinese government. CSYD offers:
*450 titles containing over 2,600 volumes of statisticalyearbooks, including about 150 continuously published statistical yearbooks in China
*Searchability at the local level
*Accessibility to current and retrospective content.

Point and click on a title to browse or locate tables or graphs.

 

TEMPRORARY SERVICE CLOSURE

From 01.04.2023, due to new security regulations for digital service providers within the PRC, CNKI have to temporarily suspend four of its databases pending regulatory review. They are working to reinstate the services as soon as possible after the completion of the review process.

The following of our databases are affected:

– NPCC: National Population Census of China
– CSYD/CDI: China Statistical Yearbooks database/China Data Insights

CAJ – China Academic Journals database and CCND – China Core Newspapers database are not affected. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

The licensed databases may only be used for personal and scientific purposes, as well as for research and educational purposes. It is strictly forbidden to change, rewrite, systematically copy, redistribute, sell, publish or in any way use the material for commercial purposes.
Systematic and/or automated duplication of content, such as but not limited to, text-mining and data-mining is not allowed without prior consent from NIAS.  Please contact the NIAS Library for further information.

E-resources help

The AsiaPortal e-resources collection focuses primarily on resources for  studies of modern and contemporary Asia defined as Central Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia and Oceania. There are databases, information rich websites, e-books and journals. Most resources are freely available, but some are licensed only for use by students and staff at Nordic NIAS Council- NNC institutions
