Eldis is an online information service providing free access to relevant, up-to-date and diverse research on international development issues.
Eldis includes over 30,000 summaries and links to free full-text research and policy documents from over 8,000 publishers. Each document is editorially selected by members of the Eldis team.
The documents are organised into collections according to key development themes and the country or region they relate to.
Eldis is hosted by Institute of Development Studies in Sussex, but the service is delivered by a growing global network of organisations including IID in Bangladesh, CSDMS in India, Soul Beat Africa, and the National Library Service in Malawi. Resource guides on

The licensed databases may only be used for personal and scientific purposes, as well as for research and educational purposes. It is strictly forbidden to change, rewrite, systematically copy, redistribute, sell, publish or in any way use the material for commercial purposes.
