The Centre for East and South-East Asian Studies invites to the second of a series of two webinars in which prominent scholars in the field will discuss the state of academic freedom in East and South-East Asia. In this event, scholars will provide further case studies on, respectively, Indonesia (Nugroho), Japan (Kingston), Singapore (Chong) and Thailand (Zackari) that show both similarities and differences that reflect these societies particular political and institutional conditions and developments.
