The Linden-Museum Stuttgart is one of the most important museums for anthropology in Europe. For the Department of East, South and Southeast Asia, we are looking for a full-time (100%) Junior Curator for an initial full stop of two years.
Your tasks will include representing the department in academic and organisational matters in close cooperation with the Senior Curator for East, South and Southeast Asia. This includes, in particular, the care, research and inventory of the collection, the further development of the Digital Collection, the development and implementation of dialogue projects with representatives of the source communities, their diasporas and the diverse urban society, the conception and implementation of permanent and temporary special exhibitions, including the accompanying programme and publications, as well as the active participation in the new conception of the museum for the planned new building. Other tasks include supervising interns and dealing with enquiries concerning the department.
