CHERN – the China in Europe Research Network is looking for a grantee interested in scientific research cooperation between China and Iceland/Finland under the Polar Silk Road.
This position is financially supported by China in Europe Research Network (CHERN), and the successful applicant will work with Doctoral Researcher Yue Wang on this topic at the Politics Unit, Tampere University, in Finland for 3-4 weeks this summer or autumn (Prof. Juha Vuori is the official host on Yue’s behalf).
Besides the interests in this project, the applicant should have good language capability in English and either Icelandic or Finnish. Also, the applicant cannot be affiliated with any Finnish universities/institutions and does not live in Finland at the moment, since the funder requests cross-border travel. Young researchers will be given priority, especially PhD candidates. Applications from Master’s students in relevant are also more than welcome!
