Dynamic and Dedicated Manager of SINO-Nordic Research and Education Platform in Shanghai

A Position as Programme Manager (Academic Officer) at the Nordic Centre, Fudan University, Shanghai, is now open for applications:
The position as Programme Manager in Shanghai is available from March 1st 2015. The Programme Manager acts as an important link between the Nordic universities within the network, Fudan, and other universities in the region. The daily activities of the Programme Manager consist of managing a diversified SINO-Nordic research and education platform in collaboration with Fudan´s Foreign Affairs Office. In addition, the Programme Manager also maintains and develops links between the Centre and the Nordic community in Shanghai. The over-all strategic decision-making of the Nordic Centre rests with the Nordic Centre Council that meets twice a year. The Nordic Centre has a Secretariat that is based at one of the Nordic member universities, currently at Aalborg University, Denmark, but moving by the end of 2014 to University of Bergen, Norway.
The Nordic Centre is a network of 27 Nordic universities and research institutions that all have close collaboration with Fudan University. The aim of the centre is to facilitate SINO-Nordic cooperation within the fields of research and education, to promote student exchange, and to collaborate with Shanghai-based Nordic companies and national representations. The Nordic Centre is located on the main campus of Fudan University in Shanghai.
