The Moderna Museum in Stockholm invites to vernissage with Korakrit Arunanondchai: From Dying to Living.
What brings people together and what creates division between us? The power of coming together and the value of our closest relationships are at the heart of Korakrit Arunanondchai’s work. Experience the exhibition “From dying to living”, which combines world political movements with personal experiences of love and loss.
In the transgressive work of artist Korakrit Arunanondchai (born 1986), dualities such as life and death, present and past, dream and reality, contemplation and ecstasy, human and technology, the individual and the collective meet.
With narrative as a pretext, he allows hybrid forms of documentary, feature film, installation, performance, painting and sculpture to occupy Moderna Museet. Paintings expand to surrounding walls, video projections are reflected in water surfaces and sweep through the space.
