Abstract:
The Session aims to highlight the Role and Contribution of Indigenous and Local Communities in climate action and biodiversity conservation through their traditional Knowledge, practices and way of living. It will also Emphasises how the indigenous communities are adversely affected by impacts of climate crisis even though they are least contributors to climate crisis, highlighting on aspect of Climate Justice. It will emphasis on what are key actions required by different stakeholders to ensure the Meaningful Leadership of indigenous and local specially the policy makers. What is the Contribution of Youth Environmental Movement and how
should be our way forward to work together with respect to SDG Goals, Paris Agreement, Climate Mitigation, Adaption , Resilience and Finance
