Scholarship for EAJRS Conference 2013 in Paris

We are pleased to announce that the Japan Foundation has confirmed the
grant for six scholarships to give a paper at the annual conference of
the European Association of Japanese Resource Specialists (EAJRS):
“Preservation and Transmission of the Japanese Cultural Legacy in Europe”
The conference will take place at the BULAC Library in Paris (France).
Please find the details concerning the scholarship in the scholarship
application form. The deadline for the submission is
15 June 2013. Please send the application for the scholarship back as
attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please use as the subject of
the email “EAJRS scholarship SURNAME”. We especially would like to
encourage colleagues from Eastern Europe to apply for this scholarship.
The interdisciplinary conference ” Preservation and Transmission of the
Japanese Cultural Legacy in Europe ” will bring together librarians,
museum curators and researchers who deal with Japanese resources. The
program of the conference will include: presentations by European and
Japanese experts on various aspects of information science /
librarianship / Japanese art / Japanese studies with a special focus on
the situation in France, a workshop on Japanese electronic resources, a
visit to the Guimet Museum and a visit to the Monet Foundation in Giverny.
All librarians, museum curators, scholars interested in Japanese
resources are welcome to attend the conference. Please fill in the
application form/call for papers. The deadline has
been extended to 15 June 2013. Once you have filled in the form, please
send it back as attachment to email@example.com. Please use as
the object of the email “EAJRS Application form SURNAME”.
