Abstract:
Taiwan’s midterm elections, which will be held on November 26 this year, will have significant implications not only for Taiwan, but also its relations with the United States and the People’s Republic of China. They will also give some indication of public sentiment in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. In this webinar, four panellists will analyse the election results from different perspectives, including domestic party politics, generational politics, and international relations.
